Friday 8/31, drove from Ft. Bragg, NC to Dayton OH on almost one tank of gas, I was just short by about 70 miles, average 28.9 at about and average speed of 61. There were a lot of troopers out and I just decided to do the speed limit and see what happened. It was an interesting trip, just long, and the Z just purred all the way

Mr. ZForce and Hal are coming over next Saturday with their 370's for strut/damper replacement on both cars. My son Taylor (M.r Techfracture) is doing the work. I need to talk to that guy about commission/fee for garage space and air compressor usage. My coffee consumption also goes up during these events.

Anyway, they somehow were able to but the 2013 stock Nissan "Euro-tuned" shocks.

Today -- continued 240Z work.

A yellow Porsche Carerra 4 and I were stuck behind a slow poke who pulled over. This allowed us to go so I honked and waved thanks, just as a CHP without lights on top was coming the other way. He slowed as if I was waving to him for help. It even looked like he might turn around. Although he did not do an about face, the Porsche picked up his pace, but kept an eye in the rear view mirror. Fun spoiled.

Mr. onzedge, your hospitality is always appreciated. You love all the Z's in your driveway, front lawn although the neighbors may not. Not to mention all the testosterone.

Cleaned out Nissan across the country sourcing these shocks (8 total). Only took a week to clean house.

We always bring some goodies to compliment your great coffee. See you Sat.

All we need to do is figure out the start time. Taylor is going to remove the fronts and take them to Colin's shop down the street to remove/replace the springs using his wall mounted compressor. He is doing the rears with a standard compressor.

Sounds good, the earlier the better. Will 9:00 am work for you guys? Or earlier?

made the switch to redline transmission fluid today in my Z, gotta say night and day difference in shift feel between redline and stock fluid. almost like thats what should have come in the car in the first place, very happy camper so far and alot less hesitation from the transmission almost immediately after changing out the fluid.
