add the RX-8 to the list. literal fail, although I gotta admit that the back seats were surprisingly roomy for an adult.

I had an RX-8 and the handling felt **much** better than my 370

Please don't judge a car by power alone, the rx-8 was the best handling car i've ever owned. Sure the power sucked, and I used to get like 14 mpg, but i'll be damned if I say I don't miss that car. Don't regret it one bit.

Oh and yes, it's the only "sports" car in which the back seats were actually usable...

if you rewind time, all cars boasting 'handling' were all slow.

sports cars are not suppose to be slow. a honda fit can out handle a rx8 if down hill.

It's not just that, I could take a curve going 100mph+ and the car felt very stable, predictable.

I would never do that in my s2000, and i've yet to take the same turn in the Z, but I can already tell you I probably wouldn't push this car like how i did the rx8

I'm not. I wouldn't say it was better though, the RX-8 def felt lighter and was much 'easier' to drive. A lot more balanced, that's for sure and def handled better than the 350z. The 370's steering feels heavy by comparison. The lack of power and torque really put a damper on an otherwise great car. I see them racing the RX-8's on the Rolex Sports Car series and makes me wonder what could have been had they used the 20B like in the race cars.

Exactly everything you said. I take it back the the 8 felt MUCH better at handling than the Z, but I still stand by my statement that it's the best handling car out of the 5 sports cars i've owned.

It was definitely for the people who cared more about how much fun you had during the trip rather than how fast you got there.

Either way there's no point about arguing over a car that is no longer in production i'm just saying that maybe this FR-S is similar to the 8 but maybe even better since its using a traditional engine rather than a wankel.

PS. there's nothing like revving to 10k in the rx8

The FRS/BRZ are great sports cars for budgets under $28k. They should be be in the same class as the Miata (RWD and same performance).

IMO the 370z is in a different class of cars than the FRS/BRZ.

Comparing the FRS/BRZ to a 370Z is like comparing the 370Z to a C6 Vette. Different classes all together.

I think the Genesis Coupe 3.8 R-Spec is more comparable to the Z. But thats just my opinion.

And the GenCoupe 2.0T is comparable to the FRS/BRZ

But people compare Z's to C6 Vettes here all the time, or Mustangs, or Miatas... I see nothing wrong with comparing performance cars.
