Hahahaha, oh kenchan.
I would not trade the Z for a BRZ/FR-S, it's a great entry level sports car but it's quite a step down in performance compared to the Z34. That said, I test drove one and it does have a better driving feel in terms of responsiveness and joy that is a bit muted in the Z at times.

Compared even to a stock sports package Z. Even my stock base + touring felt like it had more grip than the BRZ I drove, but in that car ultimate numbers aren't the goal and I respect that. It's just not for me

Stock for stock, the FR-S can't match with the Z. However, I don't see a lot of FR-S buyers staying stock for long. I guess the real question is what would you prefer an F.I. FR-S or a Z. I think the FR-S, minus the power department, is a way better platform to start with. They don't have to worry about cracking VVEL
