well, with the stock spoiler and Carbonsignal add on spoiler, it puts more weight on the hatch in my case, so just letting it go a couple inches off will

well, with the stock spoiler and Carbonsignal add on spoiler, it puts more weight on the hatch in my case, so just letting it go a couple inches off will usually close the hatch, any higher, and it slams shut, which makes me cringe.
any harm done if close using the "rest on body and push down" method?
