Dang... no luck with the windows.... they dealer cannot find any problem and after I pick up the car today the problem popped up... after I left the dealer.... gonna call up the adviser tomorrow and this time I cannot just leave the car to them..... :shakes head: :shakes head:

Good Morning All! :hello:

Another day at the grindstone, but I'm off tomorrow. I'll "detail " the outside of the town house tomorrow - hose down the outside, clean windows, etc, and then it's on to the Z.

Coffee and Cars in The Woodlands on Sunday possibly followed-up by a drive in the hill country time permitting.

For you cycling fans, Tour de France starts on Saturday! Love it, love it, love it!

If I don't get a chance to check back in, have a good day and a great weekend all! :tiphat:

shadoquad 06-28-2012 07:12 AM

Morning, folks :hello:

I went driving the reservoirs last night, which is just marvelous in the Z. Got my little gearhead smiling from ear to ear.

I then went to test drive a Mustang GT. I'm thinking of trading my Mazda 6 for one in coming months. New stable mate for the Z. I'd like to buy one Saturday, but I need to take care of a few other financial hurdles before I do it. =P

kenchan 06-28-2012 07:41 AM

Sounds good shado!

Morning everyone! :hello:

Today's stress reliever.....

Leave your hand submerged in water for 15-20 minutes or until the skin is all wrinkled, then rub one out. It's called the Grandma.

Good morning and may your day be free of multi-legged creatures whose only purpose in life to harrass, annoy and disgust -- all the while with that self-entitled, smug, holier-than-thou look upon their hideous faces.

I'm really itching for a house. I want a 2-car garage and a portable Dannmar lift so bad.

house is good. i mean, i cant see myself having a car hobby and not have a garage of my own. :eekdance: it's like free invitation for vandals, no expandability for tools...

m4a1mustang 06-28-2012 10:49 AM

I store all my parts and tools at my parents' garage and live in a gated complex in a nice area so vandalism hasn't been a real concern for me.

But I just want to be able to from wherever I am to my garage and do whatever I want. And I want a lift so I can DIY everything.

Also, my mortgage payment will be around $500 less than rent and I'll be building equity instead of pissing it away.

Hoping to buy sometime next year.

m4a1mustang 06-28-2012 10:49 AM

Actually closer to $650 cheaper since I pay over $100/mo for covered parking.

onzedge 06-28-2012 11:04 AM

yah, i use to live in an apartment when single (a while ago) with gated parking structure, but it was not the same as having my tools 3ft away at any given time. i always had to lug my tools down there as theft was always a problem in LA.

lift is good. if my HOA didn't have all these rules i would have one too. the one i wanted was only like $2500 too.

yah, i remember i had to pay $200 extra as i had 2 cars back then. it's silly imho. wife and i saved up for a few yrs to make a big down payment (about 50%) on our little home and have been aggressively paying it. will will pay off in 11yrs. :p actually i was just talking to her a few days ago just pay the rest off maybe next month depending on how her work goes.
