afternoon everyone :) well finally made the switch to red line synthetic today after running mobil 1 synthetic for the last 23k miles...first thing i noticed compared to the mobil 1 is she seems to have alot more pep in her step if you know what i mean lol. secondly i did notice it takes alot more time for this oil to cool down compared to the mobil 1 after prolonged periods of spirited driving, but i also noticed that when mobil 1 gets up to around 220 the engine feels sluggish, dont feel that anymore with the red line even at that same temperature. definitely a win win all around compared to the mobil 1 even if it is a few dollars more expensive, cool thing is i was able to find a NAPA store that carried the whole red line product line locally :D gonna switch out my differential oil the next oppurtunity i have

Hi pint, when I filled my G35C this am, it was 4.69 for 93octane. Still not $5, but it was not a cheap fill. :icon17:

We pay $1.43/ltr for 91 in here, some other provinces has even a higher price...

1 Gallon = 3.785L, so we are paying $5.42...

So you either stop complaining and fill up the tank.. or :gtfo2:

:bowrofl: :bowrofl:

I tried 94 and 91, can't really feel a difference...

I thought the 91 is good enough for the OEM engine mapping, and 93/94 if the ECU is remapped.

Right?

Half a tank of gas + the ability to hear me constantly complain about life.

Right?

Yes. Some people may argue but vehicles in the US are mapped for 91 due to some states not offering 93. So with a tune on 93 it would run a bit stronger IMHO.

The complaining is only temporary. :)

 Do not forget that all non-ricer Z folks (and one Camaro ZL1 guy) are always welcome in Sacramento at our place -- complainers and non-complainers alike. I guess GT-R and DeLorean folks are OK also. :icon17:

I heard that Chevy is offering a 4wd flux capacitor upgrade for the ZL1. It only costs a few megajules.

Man those Camaro forums are terrible. Posts by nonCamaro owners saying how much better their car is. It would be like BMW people posting here. WTF if you haven't driven both cars how do you know? Anyhow glad this forum has people that know what they are talking about.

Fire 08-04-2012 04:21 PM

Do you guys think that if BTTF came out earlier DeLorian would have made it as a competative car maker?
