Is today Mr. Onze's presentation? If so, good luck dad!

In states where they are so fiscally screwed up due to bad policies and politicians, they will ticket you for going 3 miles over the limit..
Due to the almighty dollar, the grace period of 5 miles an hour over is gone... Oh and Good morning to all you crazy Z Fanatics.. |

I lived near a retirement community and you could not walk through the Safeway parking lot without almost being killed by a Blue hair in a BIG Cadillac. I walked over to yell at a few once, and the look of surprise and lack of cognitive thinking in their eyes told me all I need to know.. Don't put them on your ignore list, because they will run you over...Blue hair alert.... |

they innocently dont understand they almost caused a very serious accident. they need to be tested annually for driving after reaching 65 (or earlier?). yes it's a pita for them but they're retired, have plenty of time. just get out of the way when we working folks are out and about trying to fix the damn economy they keep trying to suck money out of. |

anyway, my G's modded and dialed-in so she handled the incidents like a champ, but i dont like making such manuvers going to work. :ugh2: |

I am retired at 50, now 52, and I get out of everyone's way, unless I am on the Track. I understand people need to get things done and make a buck, so I haven't forgotten what it is Like. Only the last statement I can't agree with. I have plenty of retirement money, but I will be damn sure to take my Social Security at 62, because it is my money. Sure by then, then will "means' test it so they can punish those of us who spent a lifetime saving and investing, just so they can give it to people that either never saved, or never put into the system at all. I will be punished for doing the right things. True it is one giant Ponzi scheme, but these people paid into the system and the economy is not their fault...It is the Voters fault.. But everything else, you are right on target.. P.S. I think we need to stay on Z stuff...I don't want to get banned and shunned from society any more than I already am.... |

By uneventful I mean that I didn't get caught in hail, I didn't run through freshly-applied street paint, I didn't get pulled over and I didn't scrub any curbs! Everything else is assumed to be status quo, which is sweet as Hell! :rofl2: |

I'm so glad nothing transpired Ken-San! |

So I found out something interesting This weekend. My scion xd weighs 635 lbs less than the z! That's is based on published curb weight. The scion is 2665 lbs, no wonder it feels so light in the corners :)

woot, my saitech or watever it's called cup-mount for my audio recorder arrived. :p will modify the mount so that it takes a 1/4" screw as the recorder has a tripod mount on the back side. will isolate the recorder from the mount using a 4mm rubber washer, might add a felt as well, and use batteries instead of plug-in power. got more eneloops (sp?) coming to me this week. :p
this is my backup audio just in case the 2 mics coming to me fail me yet again on my gopro. lol |
[QUOTE=kenchan;1768035]hey are you done editing and re-editing and re-re-editing your edited post? :icon17: haha
im only speaking about the dumb ones that are a nusance to our society. :) Kenchan,:hello: I only edit it to clarify mt point. You can tell by my posts that I am not shy and I don't remove stuff, only add to it..:tiphat: But again, I am so far off the z trail that I am moderating myself, haha. I will stay on Z cars...And not the other boring crap... Speaking of Z's. I am anxiously awaiting your Video's...Will they be at the Track, or some street video's, of course on a closed road course, hee,hee..:driving::driving::happydance: All this talk of go Pro's and microphones has me waiting..:driving: |

my wife also watched it and said 'oh, so that's how it looks like from inside your car' :rofl2: since she's never been in my Z yet. hahaha. |

Funny my Wife won't get near my Z/28 at all. She has no desire to ride in it.. I want to get a set up before I go Tracking my Z/28...Trying to explain my experience will lack the true feelings of the ride, and will just look like bench racing.. I don't have to beat everyone or win, but just the noise and the power should make for an entertaining video.. |
Yup, it's as I suspected. Ken-San is a very private individual, and I completely respect that. :)

When I looked into cars back in the day, I had my hands behind my back, and I NEVER touched the car with my nose or my hands.. You do not touch other people's stuff, or run around on their property... Well done on raising "small craft advisory/Mini gale". I have hope for the future..:tiphat: |

to this day, ive not had my kids go in and mess with my music gear or mess with my cars or tools, etc. they know what is off limits. i still need to remind the kids wat the rules of the house are cause they are kids and tend to get carried away. they're good kids though and all the teachers at school always compliment my wife and me how well behaved they are and luved and respected by their classmates. while they get older and earn their trust from dad, i will give them more freedom, and they will understand dad has always been their best friend. |

You know, I get jaded sometimes at how people are raising a generation of "entitled" soft heads.. You guys remind me that old school principals are still being used by responsible and intelligent parents.. Thanks you...For your kids future, and society as a whole... Very refreshing :bowrofl: |
