Hi Mr.alcheng :hello:

Well, Mrs.GaleForce and I went for a quick spin in the Z and came home to find Purolator was in the driveway to give me this,

B&H Photo is really weird. They are selling the Zoom H1 for $99.95 or the Zoom H1 and the $25 optional accessory kit for $98.95 :icon14: guess what I bought.

Hi Mr.kenchan :hello:

I like your GoPro setup. Looks really good. Your di noc spacers reminded me of the carbon fibre headset spacers for my mountain bike. They come in a kit with,
  • 5mm
  • 10mm
  • 15mm
  • 20mm
You can mix and match, use all or just one to get the optimal height. You can get them from online bike shops or eBay has them for $2.75 for the set.

I might have to buy another set....

Yeah, those are the ones. I was wrong with my price, they were selling individual thicknesses for $2.75 each. I assumed it was the kit because I have never seen them sold individually before. Sorry for the bad information.

np! i really didnt care about the price, rather just having that option using real CF. :yum:

i think might get one of these down the road... it's the snap mount thingie but has a tripod mount bottom 1/4" screw hole. just not sure how robust it is to use inside a car.

Almost got killed by a big GMC white van. i was coming up in the left lane and they obviously didn't look, changed lanes right into me and I had to do a big swerve into the carpool to avoid them. If there was no carpool lane, I would have been crunched, maybe dead, pissed me off. Also had an old Altima smoke his tires braking to not rear end me. Shitty drive, especially with there being 2 accidents as well.

My head unit and speakers for the S2K were delivered today. I get the rest of the stuff later this week.

Also got all of my watchmaking supplies in today. Only takes ~3 days from Hong Kong via Hong Kong Post. Funny since it can take 6+ days to get something from California!

Since I'm an uber productive employee on Mondays I took the time to swap the bezel insert from my new SKX007 automatic diver:

( Click to show/hide )

I think I may change the dial and hands soon.

You should have a regulation dial if you open the case back. Have a looksy: For those of you who are considering regulating your mechanical movement.... (Image Heavy)

If you open it up and make an adjustment make a small one since they are usually pretty sensitive. You can see just how tiny of an adjustment that guy made.

Fire 06-25-2012 02:18 PM

Hi guys. Just checking in again. Had to call into work tonight. I think I got a sinus infection from the AC in the motel. Headache, body aches and sneezing my head off. Oh then my nose drains like a hose. :shakes head: brucelidat glad you didn't wreck. I was suprised all weekend and no bad drivers. Did get a couple pissed looks from prious drivers going 12mph over the speed limit. I go 9 and stay in the fast lane, I do pull over if I see somebody coming up on me.

m4a1mustang 06-25-2012 02:19 PM

I've been looking at turbo kits for the s2k all day long. I don't think it's worth it, but I'm not done doing my analysis so we'll see.

Fire 06-25-2012 02:21 PM

Those pedo-bear wheels are dope. LOL :happydance:

hahaha, yah, i would keep the s2k NA. it's pretty quick when one gets on it.

m4a1mustang 06-25-2012 02:26 PM

Are you talking about the Prious or stock S2000? Just watched a MT comparo between the ZL1 and the GT500. No surprises. They liked the GT500 for dragracing and the ZL1 for twisties. :driving: I doubt anybody would be disappionted with either. I know what little I've been able to do with mine during it's breakin period makes me want to get into it.:usa:

That's what you get for leaving your cloaking device on.

In all seriousness, I'm glad you're ok man. :)

Hey everybody! First post so far today. It's nasty as hell out here in Florida, but the legendary PSS make the drive appear to be in dry conditions!

I suppose. But the thing is like a high 13 second car at stock which, IMO, is slow. It needs about 400whp. :p:p

Didn't you say the s2k didn't respond well to FI?

IDK, Red__Zed made just shy of 700 whp with his. :bowrofl:

happytheman 06-25-2012 02:58 PM

Yeah, and what's it weigh? All of 2000-2500 lbs? :rofl2: That's sick.

Edit: 2800lbs according to wiki (the end all, be all of internet information) :bowrofl:

m4a1mustang 06-25-2012 03:00 PM

They are a tick under 2700 lbs. I'd love one that put down 350-400whp, but more importantly I would like to even out the power band some.
