Wanna know why?

Because I love Drama... The other night I saw some spiders on bathroom ceiling. Killed the male, and watched the female stumble over panicking at what happened to her mate...squished her too. Discovered they had a baby that had just witnessed me murder its parents. Let him live to maybe one day avenge his family's death. As I said, I love the Drama

I hate solicitors, and I think half the time they're just casing your house to see if it would be easy to rob.

:iagree: We hardly ever use the front door, too. I feel like an idiot when I forget that there's probably crap all over my door and front porch cause I haven't cleaned it up in a few days :ugh2:

yah, they even leave local yellowpage phone books.... who the f- uses phone books these days???!! i want to just kick it out into the street.

JARblue 07-25-2012 04:01 PM

And of course, the one time I want one of those arborist business cards cause there's a tree in my driveway, there's none to be found. Rest of the year, I get two a week minimum... No big deal though, I've got a friend that runs his own tree business, and he is scheduled to come out tomorrow to remove our trashy hackberry and grind the stump

I kind of like the yellow books cause it gives me some practice ripping them in half :icon17:

Me too! They stick them in the ends of the hand rail, the door handles. Plus our house has a lot of doors and sometimes they stick one on every door. :shakes head:

All it takes is $$$ :ugh2: But he gave me a good price: $575 to remove 24" diameter hackberry and grind the stump. I know my parents paid that much just to remove a hackberry 2/3 the size of mine and then had to pay an extra $200 to grind the stump. Unexpected expense, but I'm a glass half full kinda guy

that really sucks. :ugh2: this reminds me of this lady trying to sell her cleaning business putting her business cards in both my cars parked outside on every door and like 3 of them per wiper blade. i thought my dumb neighbor did a prank on me, but then i caught her doing the same to another car parked down the street. i walked up to her and told her to :gtfo2:

The joys of home ownership :ugh2: But seriously, I love owning my own house and doing the work on it myself. Although I have some masonite trim that I need to replace with hardie, and I am not looking forward to that repair very much.

next spring, going to hire a painter to do the interior walls. walls go too high and im not good with heights. ..

Its fun, huh  I put in a new toilet and replaced the wall hung lavatory with a pedestal lav about 6 months ago. Appliances are definitely on the list. We got a nice stainless steel range and matching microwave/vent hood when we bought the house, but the existing dishwasher was black and we brought our white refrigerator with us, too. They don't exactly match :icon17: My favorite renovation was wall mounting my Samsung TV and Samsung motorized wall mount over the fireplace and running the wires plus my speaker wires in the wall.

I'm doing good. :) Not liking having to work today but I wouldn't have done anything else anyway.

Alchemy 07-25-2012 05:02 PM

I REFUSE to work on my B-Day!

ZMan8 07-25-2012 06:34 PM

:hello: all!

I haven't been able to sign on since this morning but have an opportunity to take a peak right now

No Z related activities today. All I did was think about ways to make higher return on my investments so I can then "invest" money into the Z :p
