Monday, I bought my Z. It's my 2nd 370Z, touring + sport 6MT, this time in Black Cherry (shadoquad is my idol :bowrofl: )

Almost hit a dog Monday night. :ugh2:

Today my Z is tucked safely in the garage... We had some pop-up hail this week, huge storm last night, and spitting rain today (though they didn't predict any of it...). :eekdance:

I bought a water deionizer so I can properly wash my car, also. No shade at my house, garage is too small, so I end up with lots of water spots or drying it really fast. I'm hoping it works... I hate spending 3 hours detailing water spots, so I figure even if this thing cost me $10 a wash it will be more than worth it.

That's about it for me... Hoping to get it out and put a few hundred break-in miles over the weekend. :)

Congrats Davey! And you'll love not having the dry the car after using de-ionized water. :tup:

Just turned my Z into the Vehicle Processing Center in Dallas today...4 Sep 12 can't get here fast enough. I miss it already lol.

I hope so! Man, I love it when it's clean and I hate not driving it just because it might sprinkle. And it's been so dry in Indy this year, when it does rain, it looks like you drove 80 mph down a dirt road!

I have a rattle that sounds like its coming from the door panel and another from the console area, the latter which just started. :shakes head:

on your Z? humm... i have no such noises on my Z, but that could be because mine is stock suspension.

the door panel and center console are easy to take apart.... i would take a look inside if you can find it. :)

yah, i use these hard felt sold at artsy stores (Michael's, Joanne's) as my dampening gasket. works very well and lasts at least 10yrs. :p

it just feels kinda weird shopping there... you know, you'd be the only "young" cool guy in the store and the rest are middle aged to old women. :icon17:

You bet Kenchan! This is part one of a two part install. Head unit and speakers 1st which will be done by 3pm tomorrow. Amps and subs will come online next month. Any disappointment in Nismo's lack of nav, Bluetooth, back up cam and oh yeah, sound will be gone soon enough!

it's not easy to find at times, but trial and error. tapping the panels around with your hand helps, also using audio (sinewave) through the stereo with a slow sweep from 30-200Hz helps. dont do the low frequencies too long cause it will give you a headache. :rofl2:

No drive today but I woke up from a dream where I woke up to find my Z without an engine!! :eek::mad:

In the dream I had taken pics with my iphone and when I woke up (in a sweat mind you) I was furious and reached for it asap...phew just a dream lol

then later on as with all dreams you realize proportions of buildings, location etc was off....anyways...felt too real. I was ready to beat down vandals

I'm thinking of driving the Z to work tomorrow but the parking situation stresses me out... I'll decide at 5am (while im half awake) which car I'm driving.
