Thanks Mr. Gale! I've missed you lately. Still riding ghetto with the Amuse? :)

Yeah, well, mostly garaged ghetto style. It's only safe to take the Z to work on Saturdays, so I stretch it's legs once a week... :shakes head: I'll have my life back soon, another week or two at the most then I'll get things going again  The bad thing is, the longer I go without the Amuse kit painted, the more time it gives me to think about doing a colour change

Ive thought the same. Im stuck on Supersonic Blue Pearl from Honda... I know its not an OEM color, but the thought of an amuse kit in that color with some nice CF trim here and there... ohhh

Right -- work and Vegas are two words that do not belong together.

Good night everyone -- I have a 3 AM wake up call. My next check in here will be from L'etoile du Nord. In the mean time, don't forget to be good to each other, mind your grammar, blacklist the idiots and, above all...

Use up all 8 of your God-given Reps each and every day.

Not if you don't want to...

Happy Birfday!!

On a Z related note, the car made an uncomfortable sound yesterday in an uncommon situation. I was pulling through first and second on the frontage road of I-35 in preparation to enter the highway, when someone pulls out across three lanes of frontage road and gets in front of me. I slam on the brakes pretty hard just before shifting to 3rd, and the car makes a loud and very unnerving metallic rattle while I'm at about 6500 RPM in 2nd. I would not have expected ABS to engage, I did not feel it engage through the pedal, and I certainly have not heard it make that noise when I've triggered it two times previously. :icon14: Any thoughts? I'm not really interested in trying to recreate the noise, so I may just be taking it to the dealer. :shakes head:

Yeah, so the wife and I were bad last night. I almost didn't make it in to work this morning. No drinking for me tonight :( But definitely let me know if you make plans.

Did you get the video off my server? If so, do you think it's ok as is, or should I just remove the audio altogether?

Follow up on the rattle - I think it's my intake. I popped the hood and one seemed a bit loose compared to the other, so I'll wrench on it a bit this evening. I was not looking forward to taking it to the dealer, so hopefully I can avoid that.

New AD 08's came in.

LunaZ 07-25-2012 09:16 AM

Just got back from Fargo late last night.
Cool little town. No wood chipper incidents. Everyone is so friendly!
Even spotted a 370Z downtown.

Back to whatever I call my normal life here at home until next week.
Might even use my AK... I mean drive my Z. I think it's gonna be a good day.

6 hours  What is your d/l speed? I just checked my server from work and it estimated one hour. I don't have a YouTube account :p How about I put it on a USB drive to give to you tonight maybe?

I wouldn't necessarily say that I'm turning down drinks. More like being a responsible adult. Because honestly, I don't think I would turn one down if it was offered :icon17:

kenchan 07-25-2012 09:21 AM

JAR- which intake do you have again? (haven't been up to speed).

but any aftermarket intake, it is a good idea to tighten the hose clamps every now and then. even my simple HPS + stock box setup required retorquing. i swapped to t-bolt clamps a while back and even last week i just made sure the clamps were snug.

D/L speed is whatever Time Warner decides I deserve for $50/month lol. I don't even know, our area has been horrible since we moved there.

You have to have one with me tonight, no matter what.
