Oh wells, when we got home from visiting friends and put the kid to bed she sent me back out for Dairy Queen  Turned into a nice spirited run

Bought a GoPro yesterday so hope to find some time this week to test fit and do some lapping soon

the daily grind... that's like you can do a great job but someone else will often times screw it up for you, so just do decent work that matches the pay. :icon17:

btw, mr.gale - i ordered up a lapel mic to play with. let me find the mic...

Another mic! :bowrofl:

it is unfortunately a mono mic that comes with a stereo (tip ring sleeve) connector. since it uses a LR44 button battery like your audiotechnica pro24 i will need to remember to turn it on/off each time. :icon17:

i dont know how many sessions i can get out of one battery nor does the mic have a LED indicator showing whether there's enough juice or not. LOL  will find out tomorrow.

The front and B-pillars took an hour. Then we went to the pub before tackling the back. Customers came in and we drank another beer and shot the ****. It took all day

Sounds about like the shenanigans I would get into! Got any interior bits planned for wrapping (or did you do that already)? Looks great man! I need to do something with my B pillars, as one of them has a nasty scratch on it. :(

Hey....what's everybody doing tomorrow? Who's having a cookout that I can crash?

Yeah, the B-Pillars are literally 10 minutes each.
As far as the insides go, I might start popping off bits and sending them to kenchan for wrapping

Hi Mr. Kenchan, Jar, Ms. Pint, Mr. Onzedge. :hello:

I'm sweating in places I did't know I had. Working in in the plant with +90° heat in full coveralls and additional Kevlar sleeves. I'm too delicate for this. lol

Good morning Ms. Pint! :hello: How's the Z running? Did you get those issues sorted out with the airbox, leak and misfire?

You know, I've often thought of doing carbon on my b pillars, but feel like I would need to dedicate additional surface to it (such as fangs, valance, wig and etc.) for it all to tie together.

What say you on that front?

onzedge 07-03-2012 11:37 AM

I found this on Mr. Spohn's FB page:

I ordered some SPL camber arms and SPL essentric lockout kit. I'm very impressed with the quality of SPL.

How's the bodywork coming Spohn?

I did get the airbox leak fixed. They never did the sending unit and said the ticking noise was just injector noise.

yah, you'll definitely need to wear a wig if you do the b-pillars, but nothing else. :icon17:

They can - some are particularly noisy.
