On another note, while I was detailing the Z on Monday evening, a young lady in the passenger seat of a car waved to me while she passed by. Unfortunately, I didn't recognize her. I thought, it must be one of my son's friends. She looked like she was 19. I always kid my wife by using the expression, "Chicks dig it!" Well, chicks really do dig this car enough to let you know somehow! Young chicks! :icon14:

Your wife probably lied to you.

That would be pretty close to "Sex later tonight?"

If I start getting too much attention from young women, she'll probably make me get rid of the Z. :icon14: She's already saying that it's nice to know that I'll be okay, if she were gone. I'd have my Z and the forum. :icon17:

bbigby64 06-13-2012 08:39 AM

By the way, I'd post a pic of the GTR that I saw this morning but the "Choose File" dialog doesn't appear when I click the button. I don't know why. I tried from my Android 3.x phone and my Android 4.x tablet.

you need to take care of yourself, mustang. all these toys you have will mean nothing if you're unhealthy (mind and body). :(

Morning all! Beautiful day here today, no z action unfortunately since I stayed the night in Chicago and I will not park it on the streets.

Steve make sure you stay hydrated, most over looked thing when people work out.

Here's another story. My next door neighbor frequently laments how she's jealous of my wife and me. She sees us pulling away in the Z, going about our merry way, etc. She really likes the car and rarely skips a chance to tell me so. She says that the car looks like it's fun to drive. I told her that my wife hasn't driven it yet. She said, "If I had the chance, I'd drive it!" I didn't know how to respond. She said all of this in front of her husband who I also like. I thought about saying, "Sure! Get in! I'll get in the passenger seat, and you can drive it!" However, my wife wouldn't appreciate my letting another woman drive the car before her, even though I've offered to have her drive it many times. She still hasn't driven it once! She's content being a passenger. Another of my neighbors (also a woman) also loves the car. Women love Z's! What does that say about us?

I love the 370Z because it is so much better than the 350Z that I had...

But it is my Wife's car....

WTF....I am starting to agree with Kenchan....Now I am really confused..

FYI. DO NOT let another woman in the car before you wife..That could cause you to have your Nutts glued to your chest while you sleep..

So I've been depressed about cars since I have a broken $25 part on the 5.0.

Been looking at:

'11-'12 GT500
E92 M3
E90 M3
335i Coupe
535/550 Sedan

I think *if* I ever sold the 5.0 it'd be to get something more practical and suited to driving every day. I'd keep the S2000 for sporting fun. But whatever I bought would still have to be connected and fun. The 3 series is nice but probably small. I do like the previous generation 5 series quite a bit. A CPO model is not too hard on the wallet.

Interesting that you're so wrapped up in Bimmer. They're cool cars, no doubt, but bit of a boring switch.

I get frustrated about this stuff somewhat easily.

What gets me is that when the Mustang was fairly stock it was a really nice DD. But since I essentially added some race suspension components (my lower control arms and Watts Link) it can be annoying. Its absolutely amazing through the corners and when you're on it, but at all other times it can get to you. The watts link uses spherical rod ends so every bit of noise from the rear end is transmitted to the cabin. And I recently had one of the rod-ends wear out so it sounds god awful at all times... over bumps and such the car sounds like its broken. Functions fine, but sounds terrible. I need to replace it and re-align.

I go back and forth between wanting a solid DD and a purely fun twisty road car. The problem is I have two purely fun twisty road cars right now. :icon17:

I will just fix the part and shut up. When everything is working right the 5.0 is fine to live with.

Kudos to my fiancée for not killing me yet because ALL I've been talking about this week is a GT500/M3/335/550/etc.

Wish I had enough $$ to buy a CTS-V Wagon. :yum:

Do what you like, but if nothing else, the 25 dollar repair is cheaper than buying another vehicle, just from my initial estimates here. :B

Because cows are cuddly, and when they cease being cuddly, they become steak-ums for a year.

sounds like you need to make your mustang your 'hobby car' and get a comfy dd. :icon17: i think i know how you feel, not sure, but i too get bummed out when say a simple part like a endlink starts to rattle like marbles in a wooden box shaken by a 2yr old. :icon14:

If I do sell the car I'll cut you a deal.

Unless I sell it for a '11-'12 GT500. Then my parts are going on that car and I'll be right back to bitching again. But I'll have 600+ hp at least. :bowrofl:
