Yeah, I do have a cheap leaf blower. It works, but after using the Metro Vac Sidekick, I would never use the leaf blower again. The Sidekick is worth every penny.

Nice, fancy bottles :icon17:

Metro Vac Sidekick huh, for drying? Would beat the 10 + little towels I use on every washing

Yes!

So I have the FI CBE with Carbon Fiber Mufflers and 18" resonators. I sometimes felt like I wouldn't mind it a bit louder but felt 12" resonators would maybe be too loud and I went 18" as its the best option to keep the cabin fairly quiet.

This was like the final piece of the puzzle.

Adds even more to the nice deep exhaust note of the FI and NOT a hint of rasp! Its sounds much meaner but not over the top louder, you can notice it, it just adds to the current note of the car.

When the mechanic went around the block, I didn't know they finally got it hooked up...I just heard beautiful notes and ran outside...I drooled.

Plus I have heard a 370Z with same FI exhaust (but SS) different HFC...did not sound anything like this..got more high pitched

So i am 100% happy with this, crossing fingers for no leaks, but super happy :happydance:

Anyways, worth the effort for me

Sounds amazing, more rumble/burble, better low end response! That low end torque is back. I can get the tail sideways in 2nd with VDC on!! haha, so ya, very happy with this mod. :D

Monday I get Uprev and dyno, so hope to really fine tune these mods and see a nice gain.

Yep, those demon bolts are a bugger. It's all good for you now though  :driving:

First I blot with a 2'x3' waffle weave towel (no wiping!), then I use the leaf blower or, now the sidekick and a 16"x16" waffle weave to get the water out of the crevices. Works like a charm.

The bottles are fancy, the sprayers are very nice. The best thing is, the products work very, very well.

Yeah I started really feeling bad for the mechanics but these guys are awesome. And ya, now no longer an issue lol.

I had my beach volleyball league tonight and missed my first match, so that sucked. But the drive to the beach courts was awesome! :driving:

With the proper tools, the "demon bolt" is not difficult at all.

haha, wish I had you there then "Master of the Demon Bolt" lol

I think one of the funniest things they tried was one guy underneath lifted car with a gas torch

another on a ladder with a tool in the engine bay

guy with torch had a cigarette in his mouth by the way lol.

Sweet ******* jesus.

All you need is (all in 1/2" drive...): a 3' long extension, a good breaker bar, a good 2-3' pole to put OVER the breaker bar to extend it, a good swivel, and a 6-point impact socket. I had Blades put his hand underneath the extension (so I didnt smush his plastic inside the engine bay), added the pole, pulled, and snap. Both broke with, really, minimal effort. Mine came out intact, even.

The mileage means nothing, it's all in how you approach them. Who cares if they break in the end, anyway? lol

Oh, I hope they didnt charge you obscene labor for that circus :-p

Thread relevancy: I drove in to work today for the first time in 2 days. I missed my baby.

( Click to show/hide )

About two weeks ago I went to an opthamologist because for a month prior, my right eye (good eye) was watering up and not properly draining. They ran a test for blocked tear ducts, she said it was negative and gave me some drops thinking it was just irritation. I used the drops for a week. The day after I stopped the drops, I woke up and realized that I couldn't see as far as I used to. My eye is still watering up too. For the last few days, I've felt sinus pressure around the eye and today I can feel pressure all over my forehead. Today my vision seems worse than yesterday. I've been looking online for answers about this stupid drug. A doctor on a message board says that my symptoms worry him and that the drug should be out of my system by now and no longer affecting my vision. So, $190 later, I've got ruined vision and she wants me to come back on the 26th for another follow up.

I went to a regular physician twice before the optician. The first time they found a scratch on said eye and gave me an antibiotic to use for a week. Well watery eye was STILL there so she said it could be a blocked tear duct, so go home and do some hot compresses and massage it, I need to refer you to a specialist.

Hey Pint, I just pm'd you.

will use the gopro as my outdoor vid cam. ... i sure hope i get my polarizer tonight. :excited:

He sent me a PM but I just replied this morning. Sinex + some drops did the trick I guess. Eye is still watery but I will deal with it as long as I can see.

Z related: talked to the dealership yesterday and asked them why, at the very least, the airbox insulation was not replaced. My advisor claims he didn't know it wasn't fixed and he never would have let given me the car back without it fixed. I'm set to bring the car in at some point next week to replace the radiator hose and fix the insulation. I think I'm taking the day off so that I can monitor them. Will be getting my paint fixed as well on Monday.
