Seriously, you need to shed some light on this garage situation. Right now I'm thinking you have some fat bottomed lady living in your garage.

kenchan 04-17-2012 04:37 PM

...but on the bright side, the latest android update for my droidx has really improved typing accuracy for some reason. :p it seems like it's not confused when im typing fast. if they keep this up i may not need to get the physical QWERTY Droid4.

wat to do with 199 that i may save...

I, on the other hand, am a firm believer that the updates make my phone worse so I will go buy a new one. It seems everytime I update it gets worse.

Well, usually so for Microsoft and pc products but not on my droidx. :icon17:

Used to be pretty bad on Windows Mobile cos the OS was too hardware demanded and the CPU wasn't fast enough at that time (3yrs ago) to handle, let alone upgrade the newer version OS... :ugh2:

Nowadays the hardware is much better (dual core 1g+ghz 8g RAM min), it can handle the software like a piece of cake, at the end of this year, Q3 as earliest, phone with quad-core 1.8ghz is coming out (ie Galaxy SIII)

I don't think we will see too much lagging on the phone

I got my first ticket speeding ticket in maybe 10 years :( I speed sometimes but do it smartly and in intervals, usually.

I was driving back from Ottawa (1.5 hrs away form Montreal) and was flying, 130km :driving:...it was pitch black...cop was nice, marked it down to 120 and $98 instead of $260 :tiphat:

However the trip was not in vain...I picked up a pair of Motordyne ART pipes in mint condition with only 1000km on them :happydance:

I'm all like :ugh2: and  all at the same time! Sorry to hear you got ticketed! :(

Good morning everyone! :hello:

Fixed,

And yeah I live extremly close to said wine country and coastal mountian ranges. The vinyards/wineries are about 4 miles from my house and just a little further for the coastal range. San Luis Obispo were I live was ranked as the happiest town in America to live according to Opera. It is 3 hours North of Los Angeles and 3 hours South of San Fransico in an area referred to as the Central Coast.

happytheman 04-17-2012 09:25 PM

Whoops! Sorry for the mixup! :)

How's the cost of living there?

It's CA so it's expensive regardless. In CA terms though it is not all that bad. Much less than the bay area, San Diego, and LA. The problem is there is not a lot of jobs. I lucked into getting transferred within my company to manage the facility we own here. Pretty much a lot of college students, retired people, farmers/wine makers, and tourism. Oh yeah if you follow proffesional cycling at all this is the home to the HTC Columbia/Highroad team which is one of the worlds best cycling teams.

EazyD 04-17-2012 10:44 PM

Today... I.....hit a lot of bugs on the way home :( After having just washed last night.

onzedge 04-17-2012 10:48 PM

I did something very exciting today with my 370; something very exciting indeed. I drove to the office, parked it and then, about 9 1/2 hours later...

Ready for it?

I drove it back home.

Lemers 04-17-2012 10:57 PM

Ken, is there no place else that they can go...like:

Is your back yard fenced w/ privacy fence? Can you slip them beside the house in the back yard?

I take it you have an HOA? Is there enough elbow room between your neighbors and yourself for you to resurrect a surround for them on none side of the house?

Something's gotta give brother... :( There has got to be another way than cramming them in the garage.

You know..I'd mention this each time I did it..but you guys would get bored hearing about it!

I do truly wish that it was only a once in a while treat, and I had another vehicle as a DD. :(

I had another DD for many months. Every time I went to work in the Jeep I wished I was driving the Z. That and always reaching for the clutch pedal and almost screeching to a halt :D

happytheman 04-18-2012 12:01 AM

Yeah, I always have to rest my hand on the huge clunky auto shifter on the console of the wife's Xterra. I HATE driving automatics.

Alchemy and Alcheng (the two Al's)! Good morning, good sir! Up and posting before anyone else! Very nice!

I sure wish that red silicone tubing in the engine bay retained its red color, instead of washing out to pink. :( That information, while not entirely surprising, has somewhat bummed me out. It may be cheap to put in, but what's the point of the effort if it's going to have to be re-done seven months down the road. (*sigh*)

Well good morning my fellow Z enthusiasts! :hello: Enjoying my first cup of coffee on the back patio, while watching the pups do their thing. It's a wee bit cloudy this am so I cannot see the newly risen sun. Oh well, at least it's nice and cool outside still. Soon the summer heat will keep my morning coffee enjoyment indoors. :)

Bye bye Versa!

I'm taking my car to the dealer for them to look at my fuel gauge problem. I'll bet if they do anything they'll update the ECU, Then I'll have to reload my Uprev ROM after I get home, and start the process all over again.

gurneyeagle 04-18-2012 06:45 AM

Good morning all! :hello:

Day three without the Z as the work progresses on re-painting the front bumper and replacing the diffuser, inner fender wells, and mounting brackets all damaged from my "pot hole incident" a while back. Hope to have the car by Friday.

While the car is in the shop, I'm having my 20mm rear spacers swapped for a set of 10mm spacers. Mr. kenchan will soon be able to sleep at night knowing that issue is settled. Mr. Happy, the package with the 20mm's should be in the mail early next week.

Have a great day guys! :tiphat:

We have frost on the roofs... I would love to get out on the patio to enjoy my coffee, but not till it warms up a bit. For now I'll settle for drinking my coffee during the 1/2 hour of relative peace I have, inside, before Mini GaleForce is up.
