hi, mr.alcheng, thanks for asking. :D

yes, the filter makes a huge difference. ive had the Bosche filter in my G, but this time im using the Fram charcoal filter like in my Z. thing works great (and much cheaper too!) this am i was driving with the window cracked open, my nose felt kinda itchy so closed the window and turned up the hvac. 1-2min later no issue. :p

i recommend the Fram filter. for the Z it's CF10157...and only like $12.

take advantage of the $3 rebate. :icon17:

Mr. Ken-San, I'm sorry to hear that you have such allergy woes. I feel extremely fortunate with regards to allergies Ma's I have only a couple...and they're easily avoidable. :)

Good evening, all! :D When my AC is turned on, it smells like bird poo. Or mouse poo. I don't know where to clean out whatever was left in there by critters. It smells. There was stuff on the engine cover, but that wouldn't make it smell in the ventilation, right? Must be more somewhere else?

Oh and I washed the exterior

Started a bit late and finished drying in the dark!

Those griot's MF mitts are awesome, Kenchan!!

Those of you that have picked up the Dr. Colorchip, where did you purchase it from? Directly from the site, or is there a 370z.com vendor that I can support?

m4a1mustang 04-16-2012 09:22 PM

Direct from the site. I don't think you get it anywhere else.

They are indispensable. Don't forget the baby one for the interior.

Man, thread III is going by at a blazing pace. Less than a week in and we have almost 20 pages. I am probably going to go on a little evening drive to test out those eibach sways I installed this weekend. After the install I did a full wash & clay job and was pretty beat so I never actually took her out. I need to correct this situation promply!!!

Okay,

So I took the Z out for a little drive through wine country rolling hills with various sweepers followed by a coastal mountian range road that has some tighter stuff. So here are my driving impressions of the eibach sways. By the way my setup from install was softest setting in the front and middle setting in the rear.

1) To really test them I need a race track because I was going really quick through the corners without even stressing the Z. Double the posted corner speed limit seemed pretty easy. I did not want to push it more than that.

2) They fixed a problem that I did not even know I had. I always felt that the Z was stable and cornered really flat with minimum body roll to begin with. After taking the drive I now realize what flat is.

3) I either stumbled onto the correct setting from the beggining of my install or I will not find those front/rear bias charateristics until I hit the track because turn in was nice, direct, and the car went right where I pointed it. I had VDC ON but the traction light never came on during the corners (I can't say the same for corner exit and straights).

4) I like them!!:driving:

Yeah, it's not covered under warranty unfortunately. So instead of just replacing the OEM condenser, I'm really considering pulling the trigger on CSF's radiator/condenser package. It's about half the cost of OEM and seems like a no-brainer.

Sounds like you need to go faster. Unfortunately, you'll never really know what benefits your new setup gave you, if anything, since you didn't hit the track in stock form.

Zman- before using the calduster, place the mop on newspaper for one week. Turn it once in a while. This rids excess paffrin wax/smears on the car. :p

Morning Everyone

I got my first ticket speeding ticket in maybe 10 years :( I speed sometimes but do it smartly and in intervals, usually.

I was driving back from Ottawa (1.5 hrs away form Montreal) and was flying, 130km :driving:...it was pitch black...cop was nice, marked it down to 120 and $98 instead of $260 :tiphat:

However the trip was not in vain...I picked up a pair of Motordyne ART pipes in mint condition with only 1000km on them :happydance:

:icon17: I really wish they were cheaper but these are essentially factory seats. Plug and play and they include side airbags. So that's worth something. I don't want to give up that protection.
