My wife is warming up to having an interest in cars. Every now and then, we will be driving and I will see something nice like a 510 or something. I will saw "Nice 510" and she will ask "what color is the car you are talking about". So now I just say "Check out the sweet red Italia next to us". Then she gets it.

At least she can tell the difference between all of the Z's. That's a plus.

i see. when comparing your hankooks to other tires (say stock RE050's) do they appear wider or narrower or about the same?

my 275 DW's appear much wider than the RE050's in the same size. even so, on 10.5" width wheels they have stretch. not a hellaflushatoilet stretch, but a sports car stretch.

I was just looking on our club FB page and saw the group shot of the winners. You are posing next to a buddy of mine who's 280Z Mach II is in one of your other photos. It's the spiderman Z. I bet it was tough judging on the stock cars, they have to be very clean and detailed. We had 5 club members place from NorCal. Nowhere near the amount from SoCal but then again..three times the peeps down there. :tup:
