Good morning everyone.
It's raining lightly this morning so the pollen on my car turned into a slurry of orange and yellow nastiness. Hopefully it picks up and washes all away. |
got my carbotech brake pads in the mail yesterday :excited:

Hit 17K miles on the Z last night. :driving: down 130 at 81 on cruise control in 81 degree weather (and, yes, that is considered a cool front for us here in TX).

Good Morning Mr.kenchan :tiphat: I don't like Windows but I dislike Apple even more :icon17: :icon17: At least I have a lot more choices on brands and components when I build a PC but with Apple I have to stuck with their brand and pricing, it's simply not right. Imagine there is only one brand you can choose and one price when buying mods/tools for you Z... :shakes head: :shakes head: BTW, check your rep, hope you know what I mean about 'that guy'... My day off today but I am back in the store to do some work.... :icon14: LOL, I am happy though because it means business is picking up.... help buying parts for my Z in the future.. hahahaaa :icon18: :icon18:  |

On a positive note. The service advisor had me wait because she didn't think it would take long for the tech to look at it. The tech came to talk to me to find out more about the problem. I told him the gauge isn't lighting up all the way when filled. I said that I have heard some guys having the same problem and they swap out the fuel senders. The tech said he would need to pull them out and check for continuity to properly diagnose them, then in the same breath said, He may as well just order some new parts (fuel senders) since its still under warranty. The tech is very very mod friendly, he was  all over my car. He says, you even leave it in Sport mode... I'm like :ugh2: yeah. He was saying most customers around here turn it off... I made a new friend  :rofl2: |
Mr. GaleForce, I would have also offered you a ride, but I do not think I am allowed to cross the Canadian border.

These days, I don't use a desktop much; I use my Android tablet (Asus Transformer Prime) and Android phone (DROID Bionic). Most people don't know it, but all Android devices run on the Linux kernel. That's akin to the engine of a car. The Java runtime then runs on top of that. Heck, my Samsung 55" LED HDTV runs on the Linux kernel. My Xerox printer uses Linux. Linux may not have conquered the desktop, but it's everywhere else, hidden in plain sight. :icon17: It's in a ton of small, medium, and large embedded devices, all the way up to supercomputers! It's in IBM's Watson! I've been using traditional Linux on my desktop since 1993. All of Google's search engines run atop of Linux. In fact, most of the world's servers run atop of Linux. An OS should be reliable, efficient, and invisible ... like an engine. |
