I am not gay either, but I have a large number of male and female friends who are. It makes for interesting holiday parties, especially Halloween.

Nope. Drill the housing. That's what I did. Save $40.

No, it's not brittle. Just start with a pilot hole and work your way up.

thanks! will do.

btw, does the Hero2 supply phantom power to that audiotechnica Pro24 mic? or do you need to change the lithium battery once in a while?

i bet i will be using this camera more than that nikon i bought last year. :rofl2:

kenchan 05-23-2012 01:59 PM

so i read through reviews on the mic and found a $4 ebay stereo dynamic mic for pc/voip that seems to work well with the hero2's. :) so im going to try that for now. it makes no high pitched noise like some of the condenser mics do.

hopefully i wont have to use it while inside the car though. :p

Hey guys, was just at my dealership and was inquiring about the Steering lock RevD. The tech that was helping me told me when he entered the RevD code it referred him back to the RevC... Anyone have any idea?

That's what I thought too. So maybe even if he orders the C the D will come in?

Or is he using parts off the shelf..

I have had bad experiences with the Nissan service dept, including the service Manager.

Like they don't give a F---

Went to the supermarket today..going into the store some guy stopped and asked about the car...coming out another guy did the same....nice to have people complement your car!

He told me none were in stock and it had to be ordered. I just want to make sure he doesn't place an order and I end up with a RevC lol

EDIT:: Just got off the phone with him. He's going to make a phone call to Nissan for me through their parts department to inquire about the RevD

I upgraded my brakes from base to the sport akebonos, and have had folks tell me that the base spare will not fit over the larger brakes.

Nissan told me that since my stock 18" rims fit over the brakes, the spare would too...

FAIL

Nick911sc 05-23-2012 03:15 PM

I feel bad when I go into car dealerships and know more than the salesman...

Esp since I'm in a sales position and I'd be embaressed if someone knew more about the insurance policies I sell lol

That wasn't just a salesperson that lied to me. That was a garage tech.

Nick911sc 05-23-2012 03:17 PM

I trust no one, and that way I am usually right..

The few times that I am wrong, I still turn out better off..

It is not a Nissan thing, it is an epidemic...

It is the none of what you hear and half of what you see thing...

With Sugar ? Crisco Oil ? Smoke ? Mirrors ?

onzedge 05-23-2012 03:26 PM

An insurance salesman is a lot like a consultant (I am one).

He borrows your watch to tell you what time it is and then keeps the watch.
