What other car would you have considered?

I've always had wood for Z cars so in reality, none.

The only other car that would interest me is the Cayman (S) (with comparable specs). Though the thought that it's not a real Porsche (not a 911) would bug me.

That bugged me too. If I was going to spend the money on a Porsche I want the 911! I'm a nostalgic ************. I love cars with history. They are the only ones I buy or want to buy!

Mustang - 1964 1/2
Nissan Z - 1969
Porsche 911 - 1963 (but really, let's start with the 356... ~1948)
Corvette - 1953
Honda S roadsters - Starting in 1963

it has to be split window, not convertible.
