Still I'll stick through it over losing this car. But if I have to pay 6 dollars a gallon, I may trade this in and get a smart car ![]() |

I think a fuel efficient little 4 banger makes more sense than a hybrid in terms of cost. A Civic, Corolla, or Focus gets pretty good mileage and cost way less than a hybrid. If I needed a practical little car, I'd probably get the Focus hatch.

What my point is in response to the issue about people saying driving a Z with $5-6/gallon is not economically wise and they rather buy a Smart Car, so for similar price to a Z, a hybrid is a very good option over the Smart Car. cheers ![]() |

Good thing is I only fill the Z up once every month or so since I don't drive it that often. I have an Altima that fits daily driver duty.

A bike is a great option. I have two bikes ('09 Triumph Speed Triple and '01 Suzuki DR-Z400S converted to SM) that get decent gas mileage (35-45 mpg), and that is with going no-holds-bar and never having to worry about 'taking it easy'. Hopefully I can start using my bikes within a few weeks....
