He doesn't even have to own it. He can rent one and take both cars to the track. The Z is a great car. But some people are just unrealistic about the Z potential. The Z would need turbos to run with any of those cars on a track and if you are only stage 1? Its a drivers race. You need at least stage 2 to solidify the win. Until those cars mod too... at the end of the day. Its about how much money you have to make yourself a winner.

agree up to a point, but most would agrew pushrod engine and suspension design have nothing to do with it. Its as dumb as the Corvette guys who think all import sucks and vice versa

^^^

Its just bias on both sides. All imports are dumb. All leaf springs suck. All V8's with push rods is crappy technology.

The one I hate the most? Horsepower per liter. Especially when Civics are talking about it with 1.6L motors...

How about the whole lightweight thing, just as annoying. the rx8 guys are the same way, of course they shut up real fast when the Corvette beat it by 10 sec a lap. Aftet he lost, he kept going on and on about the 1.3 liter

Hey, at least I had both cars and have some real world data. Let me know how bad the leaf springs or OHV engines are working when you get one.
