hahaha, this reminds. me. there was this japanese lady that interviewed me decades ago where she was verifying my english speaking skillz. i was like wtf lady im native in both languages.  she explained to me in (sort of) english that she was married to an 'amuwiecan' guy who she met in college. i was like  i should be critiquing your damn enguwish skillz twitty bird.
