yep, closed wrench and larger mallet should get it off.

yah it appears nissan does not use any kind of corrosion resistant fasteners on the pipes. i member the first day i bought my Z, i took a wire brush to clean off the rear-most exhaust flanges and spray paint them with duplicolor matte black engine enamel paint.

Those rear flanges are nasty, looks like a 10 year old car. But those bolts I got off without issues. Muffler is off the car. Since I'm holding on to the stock exhaust I i will probably brush them and paint them to preserve it.
