happy- wat zman said.

are you on stock 19's? if so, a clean look at stock height is 15mm bolt-replacement type spacers front and rear. some folks like 10mm on the rear.

for a more aggressive look people use 20mm all around... or if lowered 20mm/25mm bolt-on spacer setup.

so you got:
ET47 (stock) - 15mm stud replacement spacers = ET32 for front
ET30 (stock) - 15mm stud replacement or bolt-on spacers= ET15 for rear

hope this helps.

If you take 1/3 the distance from top of wheel to fender and factor in the ground clearance from the front bumper to the ground and measure the roof to the ground you get? Numbers. And confused. Did that help Happy?

really? i have both eibach and H&R bolt-on spacers in my parts bin and they are pretty much the same diameter on the lip. both work fine on the car. ive yet to read eibach's or kics's lips sheering off like H&R though.

$200 will only buy decent sushi for two. although, ive been treated to sushi in Ginza which can cost about $350+ per person... if you're an arse they will charge you more especially if you arrive with a cute girl.

I am wondering though...Does the width of the tire have much play when adding spacers if at stock height? I'm about to add a 275/305 setup and had been thinking about a 10/15 or 15/20 spacer setup.
np. yah, if you're going to do wider tires you'll want to stick with conservative offsets unless you plan on lowering your car. the wider the tires get the blockier the shoulders will look and it will make your car look lifted. im not a big fan of beefy looking tires on narrow wheels.. the sidewalls get sloppy too. i'd stick with stock sizes on the sport 19's...maybe do 285/35/19 instead of 275/35/19 on the rear max.

if you dont plan on lowering your car, keep the profile of the sidewall kinda tall. for example dont do 285/30/19 just because you went from 275/35/19.

sidewall is the % of the width of tire in mm. so for example

275/35/19 or 275mm x0.35 = 96.3mm height sidewall
285/30/19 or 285mm x0.30 = 85.5mm height sidewall (too short imo).
285/35/19 or 285mm x0.35 = 99.78mm height sidewall (closer to original)

i dont know why in the hell they use metric for width, yet inches for diameter. lol

yah, there was at least one member here that had this problem. ive seen this happen before on other forum where their car ran hubcentric wheels like the stock 19's. the stock wheels rely on the metal lip to keep the wheel centered. the lugs only hold the wheel to the hub.

aftermarket wheels are often times lug-centric so it only uses the hubcentric lip as an aid to when mounting the wheels onto the car. the wheels are centered onto the hub by the lugs. you dont even need to run hubcentric rings on these wheels unles you get vibration due to poor design of wheel or improper installation.

the kics and ichiba's have a separate centering-ring lip and while not as distortion-free or stable as the H&R/Eibachs which is part of the spacer, the separate centering-ring has some 'give' to move around when there is high load on that lip. so ive yet to see any posts about kics/ichiba's breaking.
