I kid, I kid! I do wonder though how much weight reduction removing the OEM wheel and airbag netted you? Man, ate you considering taking this hobby to the next level and doing some amateur racing (unless you already are)? |
Quote:
As far as it goes to what level I'm going to take it to is hard to say. I love to drive my car on the streets and not ready to lose that completely yet. I want a balance of both street and track. In which you can do a lot of track related things to the car and still be good. I just want the most from my track days. I'm thinking of yanking the radio and speakers out now. And the battery reloction kit is coming also. Next year might be my big step with glass and AC. I really can't wait for the steering wheel. After installing my race seats they sit higher than stock. I hate it. So with the removable steering wheel I can remove the sliders (also removing weight, hehe) and mount the seats to my brakets only to make them lower. |

Spohn you are really getting serious. I've had vehicles without radios and didn't miss the radio. I owned a 1964 Plymouth Fury with full cage and racing seats. It was setup for dragracing. As I always say "the only person that has to like your car is you. Do whatever you want to do."

I knew that once you got that PWJDM, you'd be selling your TI! that's ok, because I sold my TI almost two months prior to getting my PWJDM.

Wow! This post comes to you very nearly 12 hours after the last post on this thread!
Today I'm going to give her a bubble bath and put on her new wipers. |
Good morning Happy.
So last night, my 16 year old cat tipped over a water glass onto my new MacBook. Ruined it. I guess this is what happens when old meets new. Itching to drive the Z today, though. That always makes me smile. |
Good morning dAvenue! :hello:
OMG!! $1600 gone! Did you have accidental damage coverage? Tervis Tumbler FTW! |
Nope. It's a total loss. The only good news from this is the next MacBook gets released in March.

hey there, mr. alcheng. that looks like how my town looks as well. :D hahaha. wasn't too bad though, about 2in max but the blowing snow made it deep in some areas. my G did fine on the way home with LM60's. no car action today. |
Good Morning Mr. Happy, Mr. Kenchan, Mr. DAvenue, and Mr. OnZedge. Sucks about your Macbook DAvenue. I think I am going to install my Z1 oil cooler today. I was going to do it at OnZedges place but the scheduling did not work out so I am going to tackle the job myself. Hope the Koni's made it the top of the domestic list.

Good monring everyone else!!! :tiphat: |
Yah I was going to say that the scheduling must not have worked out because Mr. Onzedge had to put on an apron!
And good morning to my online fambly! :hello: Quote:

Good morning and afternoon my fellow Z enthusiest. Just recieved my Z1 post maf tubes and it only took 2 days. I want to put them on but the weather is kind of muggy plus i haven't recieved my K&N drop-ins yet. May do it anyway idk.
Attachment 40972 now where to attach my Z1 stickers?? |

In for first impressions! I've got my K&N drop ins, but I've been holding off on installing them until I get my post MAF tubes! Do you already have the370z.com stickers on that little side window? If not, perhaps snug the Z1 sticker in teh corner of each one. Are they vinyl? |

Bought a roll cage mount for my GoPro. Plus a Kindle Fire to keep my life mate at ease for all the things I do to my car. Lol.
|
Installed my new RainX Latitude blades. 10 minutes later, after throwing away all the packaging and the 1,000,000 uncessary adapters (WTF?!), I began cleaning the windshield only to notice a couple of dings that must have been made by tumbling boulders. Any way to polish those little dings out?? FML
Immediate thoughts, it looks like there will be good coverage with the new blades, but won't know for sure until I have to use them. http://i40.tinypic.com/347e6q0.jpg |
^ I have a nice knock on my drivers side also. On all three of my vechicals.

Hey guys, happy saturday. Went to the Buffalo Auto Show hoping to see a 2013 Z and a 2012 ZL1amaro. Would you believe they didn't have either one :shakes head: WTH the weather was terrible also,.
|
:hello: happy Saturday everyone...it's been a week since I've driven the Z, my ankle is still kinda iffy and I'm waiting on the dimple oil plug to get here so I can do my oil change...does anyone use these dimple magnet oil plugs? I'm wondering if it's common practice to change these every oil change since they're $35 each...People rave about them in the DIY Oil thread.
EDIT: after reading their website more thoroughly this might be somewhat of a stupid question |
|
Man, oh man. I got my skirt work done quickly today and gave Colin a call to make sure he could fit me in for my Koni install. The big guy broke his hand last night after he slipped in the bathroom -- sober even. Bad luck -- broken right hand and pregnant fiance.
It's fate, or God, teaching me patience again. I guess it is off to Taylor's shop next week for the install, or wait 3 or 4 weeks for Colin's hand to heal. I will settle for an oil change which I am about to do. This is the second one with ENEOS 5-30. |
