If the metal knob doesn't get too hot, then I can have more choices, but yes, the MOMOs are my fav. :icon17:
BTW, the interior of my Z is frost.

I plan to just throw a little bag of some sort over it in the summer. Like one of those little sunglass pouches or a small crown royal bag, lol. Havent had to deal w the knob in warm temps yet. It gets cooolllddd though!

Question: for your CF Rear Spats did you make/receive a brace or just have it attached via screws/3M tape?

Apparently Sunline sends with brackets and screws (Shine Auto which I got) you get zip lol.

I bought the kit used so I didn't get anything, however the holes were pre drilled from the last guy and I don't think you have holes in yours if it's brand new? Anyways all I used were 3 screws and 2 were the ones that were holding my splash gaurds in place. So I only had to find a small dark colored screw to blend in and used a drill bit to get the hole needed in the rear bumper.

I was fortunate to get a piece with good fitment though, because if not, some sort of adhesive would definitely have been needed. The guy I bought them from said the shop that installed his used silicon but that when they uninstalled it it took off some paint. But if silicon were used I don't think there is a need for drilling a hole in your rear bumper, so it's up to you.

Basically whether you will be happy with it stuck on there and realize its just gonna need a little touch up from a paint shop if you ever remove it. In my case, I could just have the small hole filled and paint matched. No biggie either way I suppose.

Hope this helps

Hey everyone,

To the guys who have the PWJDM V.2 knob. I'm probably going to pull the trigger on one soon, but I'm a little confused. Everyone who has posted pictures, their knob has both the 6spd pattern and pwjdm logo. But on the website to order, you have to choose 6spd pattern or logo. Is there something I'm missing?

Just the logo is different than the logo on the 6spd pattern. The 6spd just has PWJDM or something similar written under the 6spd configuration. The logo knob hass a large P, japanese characters, along with their logo

The other day, I took out the silly dealership tag that was plaguing my front end. Turns out they overscrewed that license plate holder and now I have two tiny nicks on the front :(

isn't black delrin? if so, not worth getting as it's too light imho...

if you want black, i'd get the stainless and have it powdercoated by Mike. :)

Nick911sc 02-29-2012 02:15 PM

I should clarify, I mean black or titanium base ring!

I agree that would look awesome. I personally don't have any red in my car, so I'm pretty set on black or titanium... Anyone has pictures of the titanium or black installed in the car?

kenchan 02-29-2012 02:24 PM

mine has black ring under stainless, but no picture yet... lol i wish now i bought the titanium ring so that i can powder coat the knob black...

What this thread needs is more cowbell, but seriously.....

Got my Z about a month ago. Popped in a GTR start button, and have a FI cat back on order.

I was thinking of painting the stock engine cover red. What do you guys think? Lame or cool on a Graphite Z?
