They may look...well....kinda.....well anyways, the better choice is stay away from the curb.

So easy for me to say...My wife won't let me drive "her" car yet....

But I am a patient man...Plenty of time for me to scrape rims too..

Maybe I should get tires big enough to run over curbs like the ones on those SUVs...:) that would be one strange looking Z !

Morning Gents...

It is raining on the 370Z, so no driving today....5 days old, and Summer tires...First rain..

Oh My, do the Math.....

I still have to clean my dump hole in the garage.. I have been upgrading the Kitchen, Floors, Moldings, Paint... And My THREE Car garage can only Fit the Z/28..It is the final dump hole..

The house inside looks great, but the man hole ??? Not so much.

Oh that will change this weekend..The car gets detailed next week at the dealers and that has coating put on it...If a bird poo eats the paint...they paint it over...So any chips will somehow turn into bird poop..i haven't figured out how yet..

But once that is done, It WILL come home to a space next to the Z/28..

Loved the 350Z...I really did. Strong , fast car..Only a 911, a AMG, and a BMW ever beat the old Z...Never raced a vette or a EVO..

But this 370Z deserves a spot in the garage, my dump hole..

But a condition of me buying the 370Z , is that the wife, on the next clear day, will help me clean and organize the chaos..

So today, I stare out at a wet 370Z...But it is still in the driveway..Like a Dream..

ZMan8 02-29-2012 09:26 AM

Well wait until afternoon and then report back if it rains.

Yeah this is why I dont really trust the weather guy. Plus they always do 10% chance or 90% chance just so if if something doesn't happen like they said, they are safe....:shakes head:

I just look at the radar and see whats coming today from out west.

Anyone has any idea on what is that 'Reverse' style from MOMO is like?? It's short and I like the round style.

The PWJDM one is made of Delrin, is it a rubber type of material?

Pics Here, left to right: MOMO NERO, MOMO NERO Reverse, MOMO Race-EVO, PWJDM Ver.2.

what do your guys think??

Haven't done anything with the Z today but yesterday I installed my Evo-R Diffuser I've been too lazy to put on for over a month, it's just been sitting in a closet. I love it. Really adds the finishing touch to the Sunline kit.

Fitment is real good but there is about a 1/4" gap that spans about 4" along the upper right so I'm going to add some 3M tape there when I install the fog light.

I'll post better pictures from my camera once I take it out for photos

I saw a 80's 'vette like that once, except it had 36" tires and stood about F250 high. I was in my Z06 at the time. Both of us just stared at each other.

The derlin is a hard plastic I believe. Too light imo. If you get the PWJDM go stainless steel.

I have the black Nismo shift knob and I love it! It looks really cool at night too, sometimes almost appearing transparent because of the way it reflects light and my dark interior. Every once in a while I do miss the feel of the stock shift knob.... You don't know what you've got till its gone haha.

I like those metal one too, just always they might get too hot to grab in a summer day, what is the experience you guys have??

If the metal knob doesn't get too hot, then I can have more choices, but yes, the MOMOs are my fav. :icon17:
BTW, the interior of my Z is frost.

I went insane with the vacuum the other day (if there is such a thing to a car enthusiast) and cleaned the whole interior. She's lookin so clean I had to take a photo!

It looks much better full size. I have these photos in my build thread and they look a lot better than uploaded from the iPhone.

Same knob I have, love it!

Question: for your CF Rear Spats did you make/receive a brace or just have it attached via screws/3M tape?

Apparently Sunline sends with brackets and screws (Shine Auto which I got) you get zip lol.

Huck 02-29-2012 12:36 PM

I installed my Stillen G3's last night. Turned out that whoever had the car before me had them as well, because the holes were already cut and ready to go, made my job easier.
