Yeah I think most people wire them to the brake lights so that when you hit the brakes it lights up.
I like the version where you can wire it to the already prewired system and make a switch/buy new turn signal switch |

Meh, I'd like to have it flash when braking and reversing, otherwise off. I haven't yet seen anyone else do it that way.
|
That is what I did. I just wired it up to blink when I hit the break. I didn't have any problems it just seems easier that way. Plus I am an impatient man with fat fingers. Dealing with the little 24 gauge wire sucks!!! I will need some patience tomorrow however when I tackle my HFC.

Any thoughts on how to wire it to blink on brake and reverse? :)
|
Yeah all u have to do is tap into both the red and orange wires. I thought about doing that, but my reverse lights are so bright the blinking light will just confuse people!

I also went with stock sizes. I didn't think that it would be wise to put those 295 tires on stock Rays. I like my Rays so I decided to stick with the stock sizes and not have the possibility of changing the handling characteristics of my Z. |
Ah ok, thanks for clarifying.
