too much allergies right now... topdown ftl! :icon17: i haven't taken claritin for today yet cause it messes with my head... right eye has been filled with tears this am.... :ugh2:

:icon17: You can just call me Steve. ;)

I have really bad allergies. I take a Claritin every morning as well as two sprays of Fluconase in each nostril.

Today I forgot to take the Fluconase so the pollen is getting to me more than normal.

Sucks to be you I have a hand down here from Colorado and his eyes are always swollen, and red. Blows nose constantly.

Data logging... and porn. :bowrofl:

It's really for everything. For me, I really only need it for data logging and maybe some work if I don't feel like sitting at my desk. I'll also use it for viewing GoPro footage and doing some light editing (like when I'm at ZDayZ this May). My girlfriend uses it for work and school as well.

The 14z is the thin and light one. Not as thin as the XPS 13 ultrabook (which I want) but more powerful and practical. I didn't get the souped up one. The specs are:

Core i5-2450M - 2.5/3.1 Ghz, 3MB cache
8GB DDR3
750GB 7500RPM HDD
Intel HD 3000 onboard gfx

Its pretty quick and does everything I need it to do. Looks real nice too. Compact and fairly light (under 5lbs). Got it for $899.

P.S. -- Good Morning, Misters

P.S.S. -- Fantastic tire! :p

nice! i'm looking for a new laptop for my gf her biggest thing is it needs to be small and light ("purse ready" :ugh2:) :icon17:

Good looking stats there too, almost like a gaming computer. How is the Core i5? Haven't read much about it yet.

P.S. Morning Gentlemen! :hello:

Do you wear contacts? I do, which I know make allergies even worse. I think lasik would help if anything since you no longer have a pollen filled contact in your eye!

i'd get the Air... well unless you must have a windows based. for most users the air will be more than enough and small. i currently use a MBP i5. i think it was either a 2.2 or 2.3GHz. i luvs the thing.

and i run the free Office software called LibreOffice. works great with my docs made on my pc too.

i didnt get the air cause i use my MBP for my music. i took out the optical drive and replaced with a 7800rpm 512G HD so my computer has dual drives inside. i can still use the optical drive externally to watch DVD's burn discs, etc. :p

I'll have to look into it. My biggest thing is $. She doesn't need one that's expensive, just one that works :roflpuke2:

Definitely. The i5-2450 is more than sufficient for most applications. I play the HD video from my GoPro and edit it just fine on this machine.

When I want to play games... I have a special rig for that. :D

Exhaust update got a few more bolts/knuts off, just one left! I think this knut is stripped though. I'll try a 12 point socket tomorrow. hosed it down with pb blaster and will see what happens.

So, I have to own up to something.

I lied in an earlier post when I stated that I was done modding. I totally forgot about the purchase I made from Z1 last November during their Black Friday sale. In a box in my garage, that is prominently marked with the Z1 logo, resides the upper and lower radiator hoses as well as two overflow hoses -- in the far-out, groovy red silicone. I will get around to installing these in a couple of weeks (240z work is on my plate this weekend).

I have a question for you, Mr. ZMan8 -- are you performing a radiator flush at the same time as you replace the hoses? I am curious. I am going to replace the coolant when I do mine.

Actually I passed up on the radiator hose for now. That one is the largest hose and also most visible. First I want to see what it will look like after I add the others. Then if I need more red to match the color scheme we have going on I will get the radiator hose as well.

On the topic of flushing the radiator it's not necessary you can just drain the fluid when you do the lower hose and refill after your done. Unless you have a lot of miles then yeah go ahead and get it flushed while your at it.
