What did you do with your Z today II

Went for a quick drive to check the swaybars. It was only 13°c today so I couldn't get on it too hard. My tires are too slick at that temp.

Went for a quick drive to check the swaybars. It was only 13°c today so I couldn't get on it too hard. My tires are too slick at that temp. What I did notice was an overall tightness (for lack of a better word), initial turn in was quicker (response). I'll have to wait for the temps to get back up before I really give them a test.

My suspension set-up,
  • Stock wheels/tires
  • Swift springs
  • Whiteline front swaybar - soft setting
  • Whiteline rear swaybar with endlinks - middle setting
  • Alignment - custom spec (not factory numbers)

Nice setup. You may want to think about stiffer sway bar settings in front than rear -- quicker turn-in and less oversteer results. I hope this makes sense. It has been a long day of writing for me and I am a bit punchy.

on the stiffer swaybar setting on the front. especially for lowered cars that are already starting at near outside of suspension geometry.

no z action today, mr. onzedge? i can understand with rain.. hope it clears up for you soon.

Thanks guys. I'll run like this for a week or two, then I'll try moving the rear to the soft setting, try that for a couple of weeks. I have all summer to play

Wanted to wash the Z badly but it's pretty stormy today... I'll wash it tomorrow after class I guess! On a side note, thank god I used a rental Ford Escape today, I would have not made it home in the Z with all the flooding on the 10 and PCH.

Thank you Mr.kenchan, I was quite upset but sh!t happen

Will get a kit these couple days and fix it up.

My friend got VentureShield done on his 1M last month, and the guy who did the job told him there will be VentureShield for windshield later this year. Gonna check it out when it'a available.
