switched out my bumper that was backed into with one I bought from a member on here in perfect condition and finally washed her after 3 weeks :)...no more blacked out fangs though :/ don't know if I should paint it again or just get an evo-r cb cover...kind of hesitant to peel off the perfectly good clear bra that's on there now

I had my front bumper replaced due to a deer last fall. I had the fangs blacked out on the previous bumper and really need to get off my butt and black out the new ones. I think the fangs blacked out looks MUCH better.:tup:

I realized today during the Turnpike drone between Pittsburgh and Harrisburg that people a) don't use their cruise control, b) don't maintain a consistent speed, and c) think I'm their pace car. Despite running away from people before settling back into cruise mode, these wankers chase me down and park on my tail. It's kind of annoying.

I was mega hungover this morning. For the first hour of my drive, I was thinking I might join the ranks of the "cabin noise" complainers.

I'm having badass tires put on today. Not exactly a mod but it's going to be awesome. Last night, I applied a second coat of wax to the Z. Does that help?

what tires did you go with? If they are better than stock its a mod! the wax thing is making it worse.. :( Id love to hang out in my garage with a drink and some music going while detailing the Z!

hahaha, yah, ive been thinking seriously about this but i think what will end up happening is i will continue to drive the G until i retire her in about 2yrs and just get a cool hatch afterwards (STI/Golf-R).

i have a problem with cheap cars where i buy it, but get sick of it and sell it in a few yrs. in my case i need to buy something i want vs need to save money. :icon17:

yah, layering natural wax over polymer is a very effective way to get nice 3D effect and protection. :tup: i usually use Griot's SprayOn wax over either natural wax or polymer sealants.

Hmmm water attracts pollen, waxing attracts pollen, car sitting outside attracts pollen. Don't think you can avoid pollen if vehicle is used.:shakes head:
