I'm not replacing them, the service people say they might be due next visit. The Chevy dealer isn't giving me enough for my car for me to replace the tires.

Food for thought:

One of our developers here is a Russian named Vladimir. He has what I consider some typical Russian attitudes about life (he was born there and lived as a Soviet until he immigrated to the US). I hope I am not stereotyping.

Anyway, one day while working on a client issue together, I made the comment about how painful the work was in that case we were working on. He told me "Don't worry about it -- half of life is pain, the other half is suffering".

m4a1mustang 04-05-2012 02:26 PM

Those of you guys with roadsters... do you leave the top down or put it up when you park if it's nice out?

I am going to my salon today and if I can get a spot right out front I will leave the top down. But if I have to park in the back I will put the top up.

I think if i had one I would put the top up:

-Deters crime
-Safer
-Wont heat up as much (seats, steering wheel, shifter)
-no bird poop/pollen/etc. inside your car

Regarding the contacts, allergy season is a big no to contacts, at least that's what I tell my customers all the time, but I wanna see what is the Rx for your contacts maybe you can use those 1 day disposable lenses at least for this period of time, it helps or you may talk with your optician/optomitrist about it. ;)

Yea……… dim sum tomorrow, and more tennis after that……… :yum: :yum:

mr.alcheng-im not 100% sure yet on the cx5. i think im going to look around used some more. yah, im not a fan of mazda's grin at all. :shakes head: :icon17:

yah, i need to see my eye doc next month anyway. i will ask her about those one day disposables. i hope this is my last year with contacts though. :p

Mr.kenchan, if your Rx is less than -12.00 combined, you are good to go in most cases...:tup:

mr.alcheng- that's for the one day disposable or lasik? my eyes are like -8.5 or something each.

happytheman 04-05-2012 04:47 PM

Dude, Kenchan....you're eyes are NOWHERE near as bad as mine! I've got a -11 and -13 correction. :( I'm in the market for the implantable contact lens with astigmatism correction. I am not a candidate for Lasik. ICLs look very promising, as it's an actual contact lens placed behind your cornea with a small incision. Also, it can be replaced if necessary. There's no going back from a bad Lasik job.

Anyways....guess what??

Mr.kenchan, if your Rx is -8.50, you are good candidate for both...

Since you don't buy contacts from me, so I'll say go ahead for the lasik or PRK. LOL.. :bowrofl: :bowrofl:

But make sure go for the most expensive onoe, because the machine they use is different.

Picked up some more Padron 26, Montecristo No. 2, Romeo Y Julieta, Padron 2000, etc. Saw a couple CAOs and even a couple A Fuentes I want to try, so I picked a few up.

I'm all ears to any recommendations. I'm trying to find some less expensive brands that I like. Around $5-10 per cigar instead of $10-20 or more.

SPOHN 04-05-2012 06:32 PM

Going to pick up my hood tomorrow. I sure hope it came out good. Course you would think they wouldn't release it to me unless it's good to go. But bodyshops and myself never seem to see eye to eye.
