christian, that looks incredible! do you know what the difference is between the titanium and the silver option? i was under the impression that that was the silver one...

on the site, they offer 3 different base colors... black, silver and titanium. does anybody know what the difference is between titanium and silver?

the base in christian's pics looks 'silver' to me

It looks darker in person, the flash definitely made it appear brighter! The silver would be a much closer match to the stainless finish of the shift knob.

Yes, the silver is closer to the color of the stainless knob. The Titanium is a bit darker, and is like the middle of the road color between silver and black. I think it's the perfect option (which is why I got it)!

hey any of you guys that bought the knob have issues with the decorative stripe having tiny burrs?

mine was pretty edgy and required me to file.

i hope come spring, i dont un-cover my car to find a rust ring in the middle of the knob.

So, I installed mine before Christmas but today was the first time I actually drove it further than the garage-driveway-garage. Mine feels fine, but cold. I also noticed that the rattle/buzz I was getting at high RPMs (that I was attributing to my short shifter) is gone -- at least for now. Maybe it has something to do with me removing the stock knob and re-stalling the JDM one using rubber o-rings. The knob feels great once it is warmed up.

it was 12F this am...

Basically the same temp here (-13°C without the windchill) Although just looking outside you would think its a beautiful spring day until you open the garage door and that winter wind smacks you square in the face back to reality.

yah i dont think so either as exhaust flanges are welded and stuff and i dont recall seeing process to be treated. but not sure which T-stainless used.

I do not think that stainless steel needs to be treated, but I am a layman and only know enough about machining to make me dangerous. I would ask the PWJDM guys.
