No way i will get a mustang over a 370z ! Even the latest mustang still uses a century old live axle.

I test drove a 2012 5.0 for an entire weekend and it was a very nice car IMHO. It had real nice power. From highway speed to 100+ it was insane. Handled quite nicely. I could never understand all the hate toward other vehicles. The car is very capable and if you are out driving it's potential on the streets you are asking for very big trouble. On the track, I'm sure it's very capable too. I was leaning toward the stang but just thought the Z suited my likes better. I'd go for the Mustang if it weren't for the Z, that or a WRX.

Although I must say, I can't imagine actually purchasing any of the vehicles you mentioned.

It's amazing what Ford has done with the SRA. But the Z and Mustang are 2 different cars. The Z is more nimble on the twisty back roads, whereas the Stang is brute power for straight line acceleration.

The Mustang is to the Z what the Z is to the S2000. The Z is to the S2000 what the S2000 is to the BRZ. The S2000 is to the BRZ what the BRZ is to the Miata. The BRZ is to the Miata what the Miata is to cars with lesser doors.

The S2k was discontinued.

The Miata is a better buy than a BRZ unless you need a back seat

Agreed. I was going on the power/handling aspects of each compared to the other and not really going for any sort of accuracy.

I was going to say you must regret getting the Shelby last year with the new beast that has emerged, but apparently you've traded up.

Those things are nuts! Have fun in it and be safe.
