I know the feeling. My 350Z was partially flooded during the Tropical Storm of 2008 that stay in Central Florida for days. I had the car for only two weeks.

I know the feeling. My 350Z was partially flooded during the Tropical Storm of 2008 that stay in Central Florida for days. I had the car for only two weeks. The insurance paid for it but the car was at the dealer for almost a month and the feeling of the car being flooded never went away.
So for now it might sound bad, but is good you have insurance + gap which will allow you to get a brand new car. Hope everything comes out OK!
