    You can start bottom up but it may take you quite a while to make it up the totem pole. Guys in my dealer that come in with no BMW training start flat at 16 a hour, it's not bad but level 1's like myself in my dealer all make over 25 a hour. It can also take a long time to work your way up and get all that training because the dealer has to foot the bill to send you to school. In my opinion if your serious about it and want a fast track you need to invest in school and if it's UTI you need to set your sites on the dealer training programs they offer as grad courses.

    I mean do you have to legitmately go to school to be a mechanic? or can you start at the bottom work up?
