Disconnecting the battery isn't all that unusual with cars that sit. They probably had a kid do it and he f'd up when reconnecting and shorted it out badly taking

Disconnecting the battery isn't all that unusual with cars that sit. They probably had a kid do it and he f'd up when reconnecting and shorted it out badly taking some of the more sensitive vehicle electronics with it. I would check everything electrical in the car to make sure there is no additional damage.
