I would never give any money to Shelby no matter how good the car is.

I hope they go back to the SVT Cobra name instead of the Shelby BS.

I believe the Shelby contract is up soon right, that might make the push back to the SVT setup. Especially if it lines up with the 50th Anniversary of the Mustang.

I try to keep my cars 3 years. I got the Z early 09, so looks like parting out might happen soon. I really can't get over how "bulky" the mustang feels inside. Everything feels too heavy, like its not meant to be a sports car. Choices look like:

- 2010 M3
- 2009 GT-R
- 2010 Cayman S

Leaning towards that GT-R a lot, but its not realistic just yet since it's in the 60's+

have yall had any thought in maybe going older like lets say early 2000's z06 and moding it a little? Maybe not a z06 but you know, something not new that can be had at a good price with potential that wont break the bank?

Honestly I just want a solid DD, which is why I was thinking about maybe a 335i or M3.

But I think what I'm going to do is just keep the 5.0 around for a while. I'll probably pull some of the mods off of it just to keep it more civil, because when it's stock it's actually a really plush and comfy daily car... and Sync is awesome.

Really like the M3, but have you gone to the website and "built" one? Base price is very affordable--and then you tack on the bare-bones necessaries and BAM

Yeah, it adds up QUICK! I think I'd look to buy a used one if I was going the M3 route.

But i have noticed a lot of z owners that have parted with their Z stayed in the nissan family and upgraded to a GTR. One of the locals is thinking about dropping his Z for a 2012

Waste is what keeps the global fiat currency ponzi scheme alive. Debt = money.
