Here is something to consider. Don't park at the back of the parking lot and away from other cars. I am not saying this because I think there is something wrong with parking there, you can park anywhere you want. But there are a lot of horrible people out there who are looking for the smallest excuse to let out their inner anger and shortcomings. They may view your act as a statement that you think everyone else is incompetent and no one is good enough to park next to me.

I always park close to someone else just to avoid something like this. I think that the odds of being keyed may be greater than the odds of a door bump.
