The impact is much more severe than most of the pictures lead on. The tell tale problem pics show the engine cross-member strut brace completely out of alignment. This means the frame is bent and the front left wheel at a minimum is completely out of alignment. Each headlight is almost a grand, the front fascia once painted will be another 500-600, there was airbag deployment which would cost another $6k, not including the new driver's seat due to side impact airbag deployment.
Buying that car for that price is a terrible idea. Most body shops wouldn't even touch it for a turn around sale at that price. Now if you wanted to completely part it out...
