Default No digital speedo in the 370?

Who else is a little upset the 370s didnt incorporate the digital speedo in the info panal? In the 350s, it was nice to look slightly over to your right and see the amber numbers change .Don't get me wrong I like all the rest of the info the cluster has. Just thought they wouldn't take away a nice option like a digital speedo. maybe they did away with that digtal feature cause it was inaccurate maybe? I always liked having both..now I have 1.

It would have been nice to have a digital readout option.

BTW, watch out for the forum's street racing rules.

You're not the only one upset about the speedo, and what about tire pressure.
Use to be able to check all 4 tires w/an alarm for low tire pressure. Now only alarm for low tire pressure.

Doesn't make sense to me that with the type of car/tires we have, you are no longer able to check individual tire pressure.

It would have been nice if they preserved the analog look of the gauge cluster at the steering wheel and provided the digital options where they did on the 350Z. I think it would have satisfied the look of the interior and provided the options everyone wanted.

Please learn to speak properly and spell or at least use spell check. Above is just one example...You stated that the Z does have a digital speedo and the rest of your post is just one big run on sentence.

Yes! They should have added the digital speedometer and tire pressure gauge to the 370.
I loved those features in the 350.

Think of it this way. A digital gauge requires you to comprehend the exact number. An analog dial can be interpreted in a glance without having to comprehend the exact number. Digital takes more thought albeit only a little. I much prefer the analog and get annoyed with caddys and towncars that project the digital.

As for the individual tire pressures, I was annoyed at first. But then it dawned on me that swapping tires grime side to side would F up the system. So I'm happy I have the less specific monitoring system.

I wasn't so worried about the speedo as I have a real reading from my GPS/speed camera device. What I miss from the my 350Z is the analogue fuel gauge.

Never mind, I just like way the scenery suddenly goes blurry when you plant your right foot

I don't know, for some reason i miss it only when I drive it fast. Meaning over 100+.It was nice to know the exact speed i blew by you or if i get passed. I guess you really don't know what it feels like until you ride streetbikes as well. My Zx10 is geared to go 102 in first gear! If im not mistaken they dont even put analog speedos in sportbikes anymore. Why? Cause its alot easyier to read a digital speedo then an analog one while driving at a fast or slower speed. Also while your traveling at such a certain speed you know exactly at what speed and gear u should be in to take a turn. Im just saying it was nice to have both. As for driving a caddy who cares how fast your going? Those type of automobiles were designed for luxury and just to chill with the seat back, while the radios turned up to maximum. Lol . Don't take this post the wrong way. I can see how serious some Z guys get just from a typo error.

I always loved the digital speedo predictions. It made it hard to move from the Si to something else.

The actual pressure TPMS would be really nice as well.

LMAO! Where or how can I give you rep points for calling him captain english! I also love Mr. Perfecto typo error moderator guy. Lol. Too many dorks trying to play king websters dic.
What I love most about the 350 is all analog gauges. My only gripe with the 370 is that dorky 3rd robot gauge. They should have upgraded from that digital readout you guys are talking about to a hud. Either way though, both Z's are hott.

I would understand if posts are written on the phone (which is not even really an excuse anymore if people actually practiced writing correctly). There is no excuse because browsers now a days have an actual spell checker. The main reason for writing correctly is for others to be able to read what you are writing a lot easier than trying to decipher what it is you are trying to write. It is a win-win situation for both sides.
