I don't believe in age/sex/ethnicity restricting the types of cars one might consider (so, if you want the lime green VW Beetle, go get it!)

I see 'vettes driven by blacks, whites, men, women, and everyone from 18-80 where I live. They are on every street corner almost. On my 13 mile drive home from work I usually see at least 3-4, and I come home at around 7am. |

I'm 50 and I get alot of the "mid life crisis" jabs but I really don't care. I bought a 350z in 05 and now I've got the 09 370z and I have zero regrets.
The 350z sold in 3 days too, when I bought my 370z. So they are very popular cars and hold decent value compared to most. Never worry about what others think you should be doing (outside of maybe your spouse of course). If you can afford it, you are the one that has to drive and maintain it. So buy what you want and have fun. Simple. ![]() |

Nope. Not too old. I'm 65 and own both a 300ZX and a 370Z. Never wanted a Vette... But I will admit, there are some young punks driving Z's, but that's the same with Mustangs, Camaros and Challengers. Always bigger, better and faster...
The only drawback is sometimes nearly have to fall out of mine to get out of it!! |

I am 83 and still making mods to my 2013 Z. Age is a state of mind. You want to be old, act old. Be young, at least in mind, do your own thing. I am probably the oldest Z owner on this forum. And really enjoy living the life that I live while I can.

I believe in buying a car that you can actually afford. Too many young guys driving Zs IMHO.
Sorry young guys, but wait 'til all the real bills start kicking in. <46. |

I don't understand this post. You want someone to buy a car they can afford, and yet you don't like it that young guys are buying a cheaper car like the Z? Those two sentiments don't go togather.

If you can't afford a car it doesn't matter what age you are, but likewise, if you CAN afford a car, then it doesn't matter what age you are. i'm 22, and it was totally within my means to get a 370z. new plan: Sell Z Buy '02 honda accord, drive it until the wheels fall off Buy a house Get Married Have kids Pay for college Die Sounds fun. |

aww sounds like someones a bit bitter that they couldn't afford a nice car until they were too old to really enjoy it. (no I have no idea about your financial situation or your physical well being, I just like making blatant assumptions about you) |

![]() I just tend to think that "being able to afford" and "being able to finance" have gotten confused. |
