Am I too old for a Z

I'm 52. My Porsche friend said I'm too old for a Z and not from the correct country of origin for a Vette. Is my friend guilty of age discrimination

I rally enjoyed the 370z.

I'm 67 and love my Z. Do my own bolt-on mods and HPDE it.

You are never to old (well, most of the time).

Nah. Have at it. 53 is still pretty young these days.

If you want to roll around in a damn Geo Metro, it's your choice. Buy what you want. If you are buying something to impress your friends, just give me the money and impress them even more by how baller you can afford to be.

That's BS. If you enjoy it then age doesn't matter.

It's all about lifestyle. If the z or vette fits yours then get it. He's just pissed that he over pays for his car and maintanance.

Yes. You should be driving a Corvette at that age.

This person is not your friend. I've seen people of all ages driving the Z (I'm 46). I have to admit that the Vette seems to draw a more middle-aged and up crowd, but that may have to do with the price.

And country of origin?!? This is the USA. A country founded on freedom from automotive persecution!

Damn 52??? please refrain yourself from driving any sports car at that age. In the unlikely event that you're still ok to drive safely then you may only drive an Oldsmobile or a Cadillac.

Lots of younger guys drive 'vettes. My 24yo roommate had one. I plan on buying one. The 'vette is no-longer an old-man's car imho.

Yes you're too old for a Z. At your age, a corvette or porsche 911 are more appropriate. Can't argue with statistics!

I hope I didn't that there is a specific age range for the vette. I don't see too mnay of them around here, and those I do see have guys 40-60 behind the wheel.

I don't believe in age/sex/ethnicity restricting the types of cars one might consider (so, if you want the lime green VW Beetle, go get it!)

I lived next to a girl with a lime green Beetle, lol. Turbo!

I see 'vettes driven by blacks, whites, men, women, and everyone from 18-80 where I live. They are on every street corner almost. On my 13 mile drive home from work I usually see at least 3-4, and I come home at around 7am.
