I rally enjoyed the 370z.
I'm 56...I'm overweight...I autocross my Zs...I LOVE the Z and have had many and have every intention of having many, many more.

Unless you have a physical problem that would keep you from getting in/out of the vehicle saying anyone it "too old' is ridiculous.

Maybe you need a new friend?

I've known a lot of "older" people who are in to sporty 2 door cars.
Over my many years, I have known older folks that drove 280ZX Turbo, 300ZX Turbo, 300ZX Twin Turbo.
I've also known quite a few who drove Preludes, that seems to be another favorite of discerning older drivers (well, back then!)
I well remember a couple who had a 1995 Prelude VTEC, they'd dress nice and the fella would wear driving gloves. They were in their mid-80's.

People who feel old, will conform to the "old-person sports car" stereotype and buy Corvettes and Mustangs. Others who do not care about how society classifies age-appropriate cars, will drive what excites them and makes them happy.

Not quite right. People who buy Corvette's wanted them as a kid. When they get older some can afford them so they buy them. My wife is one of those. The only issues is when I drive it I am not the norm. LMAO, I drive the hell out of it.

LMAO, I am still trying to become a professional racecar driver when I grow up and I am looking 61 right in the face. My 2010 Nismo has been transformed into a full blown track and will have over 700whp. Hell there was a 72 year old guy that drove in the Rolex 24 he at Daytona. I want to be like him....rich! And enough money to do what he did.

Despite all the ailments that come with living an active life and my body reminding me my physical age, the hopes dreams of that 12 year old is still alive and well in my head. I still get butterflies when I play softball or go to grid. I not able to sleep before opening day of hunting season or any other exciting adventure or happenings. I won't worth a crap once Seb tells me my car is ready to pickup and might even shed a tear when I do. Yes on one hand I want time to slow down on the other I can't wait for tomorrow!
