Contact Nissan Corporate if you havn't done so already. Someone here had a problem the moment they left the lot. Eventually he received compensation in terms of extended warranty and reduced payments, so I would look into that. Lemon Law would be a last resort.

What kind of issues are you having? Are they all related? Lemon law claim would be your last resort.

I've had quite a few problems with this car, and have been down and out about 40 days total now. I know all the service advisers by name. I just got a SES light and have to go back to the dealer AGAIN. I've been pretty patient up until this point, but I'm really getting sick of this ****.

So, anyone successfully lemon law their Z?
40 days, does it float? You can use it for an Ark!
Another member referred to his car as a paper weight, because it was in the shop so much!
Start filing complaints! Every where, any where you can! "In writing", "make and keep copies"! You do not have to be patient, just be polite!

ten years ago I lemon lawed a Saab in WA. I was able to do it without a lawyer and at the end Saab said it wasnt a lemon but paid me as if it were. They hate their cars to be labled a lemon.

Your best bet is to speak with the lawyer you are considering as they should have experience with the Lemon Law in your state, and also with Nissan Lemon Law cases in your state.

Agree 100%. I had to use Lemon Law in Cali on my 2005 BMW 330ci. I got nowhere with BMWUSA/my dealer after 40 days in the shop.

In Cali, the manufacturer pays the attorney. In the end, I got all my payments returned to me, down payment, etc. and they took some money back for miles.

It was a *very* smooth and fast process for me once I contacted a Lemon Law attorney, and it cost me nothing.

Good luck!
