Default Anyone Lemon Law their Z?

I'm about to submit my case for review by a lemon law attorney.

I've had quite a few problems with this car, and have been down and out about 40 days total now. I know all the service advisers by name. I just got a SES light and have to go back to the dealer AGAIN. I've been pretty patient up until this point, but I'm really getting sick of this ****.

So, anyone successfully lemon law their Z?

Sounds like you got a bad apple. That's unfortunate. I don't know what's going on with your car but I'm sure you have other thread/s about it I just haven't seen.

Sorry to hear.

Most states to qualify for a Lemon the dealer has to be unable to fix the SAME problem at least three times.

Check with your local state law and do a search here because there was another member having the same isuue concerning the lemon law.

Try like 9 documented attempts at a fix without fixing it. They you will have to hire a lawyer to prove it. It's not very fun.

In your owners manual packet is a lemon law manual.

Is Nissan usually responsive to people wanting to lemon law their vehicles? I know of one or two Mercedes SUVs that went through our shop with current draw issues and Mercedes was very proactive about buying them back from the owners so they test them and see whats causing the issues.

I don't know about Nissan but the law is the law.

I know my friend in Florida went thru this, he got a lawyer and the company GMC bought the SUV back from him.

The laws and a lawyer is your best friend.

This is true but there is a huge difference between a company being proactive and buying the car back with no hassle and needing to get a lawyer and take it to court.

Agreed. Most car companies are pretty good about taking care of you. Honda took care of some issues with a two year old base model Civic my dad had by putting him in a new Si at basically no cost.
