I don't know about Nissan but the law is the law.

I know my friend in Florida went thru this, he got a lawyer and the company GMC bought the SUV back from him.

The laws and a lawyer is your best friend.

ten years ago I lemon lawed a Saab in WA. I was able to do it without a lawyer and at the end Saab said it wasnt a lemon but paid me as if it were. They hate their cars to be labled a lemon.

This is true but there is a huge difference between a company being proactive and buying the car back with no hassle and needing to get a lawyer and take it to court.

Agreed. Most car companies are pretty good about taking care of you. Honda took care of some issues with a two year old base model Civic my dad had by putting him in a new Si at basically no cost.

Each state is different. But i think here in Texas it's three times trying to fix the same issue. Hope you all the paper work that has been done to the car.

My wife had a crappy Dodge Neon bought back under lemon law without a lawyer. It was a pain but if your in the right and you bug the xhit out of them
you may have a chance small as it may be.

Your best bet is to speak with the lawyer you are considering as they should have experience with the Lemon Law in your state, and also with Nissan Lemon Law cases in your state.

Agree 100%. I had to use Lemon Law in Cali on my 2005 BMW 330ci. I got nowhere with BMWUSA/my dealer after 40 days in the shop.

In Cali, the manufacturer pays the attorney. In the end, I got all my payments returned to me, down payment, etc. and they took some money back for miles.

It was a *very* smooth and fast process for me once I contacted a Lemon Law attorney, and it cost me nothing.

Good luck!
