That mister setup was triggered based on temp differentials electronically so it didn't trigger a lot or use much fluid... Was for a Turbo Intercooler BTW which has a lot of mass and tends to scrub off heat pretty effectively on it's own. It was a (Mod) science experiment...

Nice. That's much sexier than what I saw at the autoX last week. This guy with his STI kept using a weed sprayer to wet his top-mounted intercooler. Looked like he was trying to start a garden under his hood.
