370 overheated/no oil

This is weird that it was trace of oil leaking or burning. Maybe someone forgot putting the new oil after draining the old oil.

That is why I always check the dipstick if I take the car to the dealer for an oil change.

this is not possible i had the last oil change about 3 months ago the engine would have been fried the next day if this was the case

I think the garage forgot to put some oil in after they took the old oil out of your car. If you should sue anyone you need to check this for sure, otherwise you might sue the wrong people.
